The Overeating Cycle…

For years, I would wake up in the morning promising myself to eat perfectly. No sugar, no bread, no carbs… you know how we get — convinced we’ve finally made a bold decision.

And I’d stay on track until about 4 p.m., when everything changed.
I’d tell myself, “Today’s not the right day. I’ll start tomorrow.”
And since tomorrow was now the plan, I’d dive into all my favorite foods.

Every night I went to bed frustrated and disappointed in myself — again.

I thought something was wrong with me.
Why could I be so accomplished in every other area of life, but feel completely out of control around food?

What I didn’t realize was that I wasn’t actually changing my mind at 4 p.m. — I was letting another part of my brain take over. I was letting my emotions take over.

I didn’t know how to manage my mindset and emotions to be in control of my eating.

Then everything changed.
I enrolled in a Life Coach Certification Program where I learned about the brain and its influence on behavior. I got to the root cause of my eating.

I learned how to process and manage my emotions.
I created a plan that I could actually stick to — one that matched the way I wanted to live my life.

I became the woman who eats better every day — without being perfect.


I lost the weight I was struggling with, and now live in a body that finally feels like me.
